Oregon Youth Authority’s Leader Honored with National Award

Oregon Youth Authority (OYA) Director Fariborz Pakseresht is the 2013 recipient of the Outstanding Administrator Award from the Council of Juvenile Correctional Administrators (CJCA). Pakseresht accepted the honor Thursday at the CJCA’s Leadership Institute meeting in Chicago.

"This award recognizes Fariborz’s significant and distinguished contributions to the field of juvenile justice," said Ned Loughran, CJCA’s executive director. "All of us deeply appreciate his committed leadership and dedication to improving the lives of at-risk young people, their families and communities."
