The Performance-based Standards (PbS) State/Agency Coordinators Training and Awards Ceremony in Boston, MA are only two months away! Our participants are anxious to see the Kids Got Talent live performance.

This year PbS again challenged facilities to step outside of the box and participate in the PbS Kids Got Talent Contest. Youths in PbS facilities were invited to submit video or audio recordings of their talents for the second year in a row. With over 80 very entertaining performances, 15 finalists were chosen after careful consideration.

Kansas Juvenile Correctional Complex has three exceptionally talented finalists this year, including Bradlee R., who impressed the judges with his singing and songwriting with his original song “Let’s Roll.” Also, Paul T. showcased incredible skill with his solo dance piece, and Shampaine M. beautifully shared some heartfelt feelings for her family through her vocal abilities.

Thanks for your talents, Bradlee, Paul, and Shampaine, and congratulations on becoming finalists! Make sure to keep checking back for more about the 2016 Kids Got Talent finalists.
