The Council of Juvenile Correctional Administrators (CJCA) Summer Business Meeting was held Aug. 3-5, 2018 at the Hilton Minneapolis with 45 CJCA directors and designees participating.
CJCA’s signature program, the New Directors Seminar was held immediately preceding the meeting on Aug. 3-5 and was attended by seven new directors including Tracy Dompeling, AK; Chuck Supple, CA; Cathy Foley-Geib, CT; John Stevenson, DE; Trevor Spiegel, NE; John Munoz, Nevada and Joseph O’Leary, OR. Evaluations from the training have been very positive and indicated this continues to be a very valuable training for directors.

The PbS Scholarship Fund was established in 2016 to inspire, encourage and support youths and staff in PbS facilities pursuing their education. This year’s scholarship fund awarded a total of $6,000.
