Our solo winner is Saul C. from Rogue Valley Youth Correctional Facility, Oregon Youth Authority! Saul showed off his outstanding song writing and ukulele skills. Our judges said, ‘This young man is a very talented singer and guitar player. His song was thoughtful, expressive, and genuine;’ ‘Great lyrics, very heart felt and he was a very descriptive lyricist;’ and ‘Beautiful song and strong singing voice.’

Our group winners are Elijah C., Jason C., Jorden D., Kai G., Jamie G., Sati L., Elijah R., Treveion R. from Snowden Cottage, Delaware Youth Rehabilitative Services Division! This group gave an exceptional news report on advice for staff. The judges commented, ‘Funny and creative;’ ‘Loved the news segment…very creative;’ and ‘Very creative, I think this should be shown to new staff members. Helpful advice.’ Attendees at the CJCA and PbS Awards Night were talking about using this segment for their own staff at orientation.
